Hospital renamed Strathmartine Hospital. The physician superintendent had requested a name change (although not to ‘Strathmartine’) as far back as November, 1956, but the Board had been unwilling to agree to this for reasons which the minutes do not clarify. Nor is it clear why a change was agreed to on this occasion.
