Breaking Down The Walls
This is a film of residents and staff who were kind enough to talk about their experiences of the former Strathmartine Hospital. We would like to thank them for their courage and willingness to share what it was like for them.
Although this is only a small number of the many thousands of stories connected to the hospital, it records people’s own very personal perspectives and serves to remind us why we must strive to enable people with a learning disability to have choice and control in their lives with respect and dignity.
